Pioneer Baseplates make building simple and economical - with surprising DIY ease. These pre-drilled template-system plates are available in either the standard "U-Channel" or our special maintenance-free Industrial Quality model. Whichever baseplate option you decide on will depend on your foundation requirements - but each is designed to work with existing foundations, keeping easy, long-term relocation in mind.

Single or Double Bolt connectors can be bolted to flat slabs or walls of any height.

Base connectors are custom made to suit the exact angle of the arches.

Base Connectors are made from heavy duty 14 gauge Galvalume AZ-180 Plus sheet steel.... when sheet steel is bolted to concrete..... 2 rows of Butyl Rubber Caulking is recommended under each base plate...or in extreme cases, foundation tar works very well.

Grouting is recommended along the exterior of the channel after the building is erected and filling the interior base plate cavity on both the U-Channel and Industrial connectors is recommended for a "cleaner" interior finnish.

Foundation Plans
Engineer Sealed foundation drawings are provided with each Pioneer Steel Building for permit and costing purposes, prior to building shipment. Custom foundation plans are available for existing foundations or slabs, provided sufficient design information can be provided to our engineers.
