Base Connectors

• Pioneer baseplates make building simple and economical with surprising do-it-yourself ease. These pre-drilled template-system plates are available in either the standard single bolt model “U Channel” or our special maintenance-free extra Heavy Duty, Double bolt model, the "Industrial " base connector.

• Premium High Wall, Double Bolt, base connectors with two rows of bolts for supreme high strength base to building connection....... a must for heavy snow or wind load applications. Double bolt connectors are also recommended for temporary or "expandable"  buildings....or simply where concrete is scarce !
• Single bolt "U" channel base connectors easily connect buildings to foundations using our wedge bolt anchor system...... fill the void in the channel after installation for a secure, permanent connection.

Gripper Bolts - Another....."Pioneer First "

500 salt hour, single piece bolt with the all in one... "gripper" washer .....bites the steel and wont let go! 

• Exterior Neoprene washers will not crack...will not rot.
• All Pioneer steel buildings come with the standard 500-hour Corrosion Test Bolts, but for those areas and situations where even better protection from corrosion is an asset, we also have 1500-hour Corrosion Test Bolts, providing you additional comfort and security, knowing that your steel building is even more storm-resistant and protected from the elements.
• One Size bolt does the entire building........

Wedge Bolts

• 1/2" wedge bolts can be supplied with your building with the correct   "2" plate washer " for  an "Engineer approved" high strength building to concrete connection.

Caulking

• This ‘optional’ feature – the Pioneer self-adhesive, wax-backed Caulking Strip – is made of high quality Butyl Rubber that maintains its consistency in a wide range of temperatures. So easy to apply, these long-lasting strips provide the ultimate in additional protection against wind and rain, and provide guaranteed peace of mind if the building is to be insulated.      
• Installation  tip...... "leave the tape on" for a quick, easy instalation.

Insulation

• Our Standard supply is R 20 , in easy to install 4' wide rolls with extra Heavy Duty WMP-50 commercial grade Vynal face with 6" seal tabs and hardware package....dont settle for less.

Insulation Pin

• This is the ultimate tool for the do-it-yourself enthusiast. These easy-to-attach ‘pins’ screw right on to the building bolts to help attach either fibreglass or rigid type insulation to the steel structure – making insulating your Pioneer steel building against the environment a cinch.

• R-50 refridgeration walls with FDA approved interior liners and sealant.
• 24 to 14 Gauge Galvalume Steel liners for welding shops available in heights of 6' ,  8' and 10' high.

• Pioneer Steel now offers a modular,  easy to install,  pre:hung, welded, insulated commercial flat panel service door... .....  
• This single piece pre:hung service door includes Insulated 20 Gauge steel panel door, frame, jamb, weather-seal, sill, hinges and header..........real simple..........ready to install.
• For the non-insulated models we continue to manufacture our full size  Pre:hung, 4' x 7' 

Skylites......... For Natural Light.

• These long-lasting, heavyweight fiberglass skylights provide a full 20 sqare feet of natural light per panel,
• Manufactured in 12, 16 and 24 oz weights.
• 2' wide x 10' long energy savers let in tons of light.

Vents.......... Can't Breathe Without Them.

• Pioneer recognizes the need for proper ventilation in every steel building. Our specifically designed ventilators fit easily and snugly into your steel building structure, keeping out moisture, birds and other ‘unwanted tenants’. Available in our low-wind driven Turbo Vent or the fixed Gravity Vent models.
• 12" commercial rated, ball bearing, heat or wind generated Turbo Vents, easily install in roof panels.... vent collar doubles as a stove pipe collar or grain storage access.
• High Output 24" diameter Exhaust Systems and thermostat for high ventilation applications also available in Galvalume steel with heavy duty frame and stiffners.

Window Frames

• Window frames can be installed in the End wall or Sidewalls ... 3' x 4' is the Standard size although custom sizes can be manufactured by request.
